Wetland Location Surveys

As part of a subdivision, town regulations will require that a soils scientist mark and delineate wetlands located throughtout the property.

A typical scenario is for us to provide a topography map to our soils scientist who will then visit the site.  The soils scientist will walk the site and flag the site marking the edge of the wetlands throughout the property.  The flags are numbered to ensure that the survey crews locate all wetlands flags.

Once the wetlands are located, our drafting and design department will map the wetlands.

The wetlands maps are then used as part of the inland wetlands commission process and for subdivision design.
