Riverbend Park Project – Beacon Falls, Ct. – Riverbend Park is an area of the Naugatuck River that has long been considered to have great potential for the stocking of trout and other fisheries. Trout Unlimited member Michael H. Horbal Land Surveyors & Planners volunteered land surveying and land planning services to this project to help turn this idea into reality. Riverbend Park opened in May 2009.
Broad Street Park – Seymour, Ct. – Broad Street Park is a park that honors veterans of the Korean and Vietnam wars. Spearheaded by local veteran Al Yagavone, the purpose of the park is to honor veterans while taking advantage of the tremendous waterfall views as you enter the town. Michael H. Horbal Land Surveyors & Planners volunteered site planning and land survey services. Construction is expected to begin in the Spring 2011.
